BurnCo Origin's
Over 6,000 riders are seriously injured in Australia every year with that number growing annually. 278 riders died on Australian roads in 2024. That’s the highest toll in over a decade. Motorcycles make up just 5.7% of vehicles—but nearly 1 in 5 road deaths. That stat should piss you off. It pissed us off too. BurnCo was born out of frustration—and lived experience. Too many riders are crashing and burning. Too many avoid high-vis gear because it looks lame as sh!t. So they don’t wear it. And they don’t make it home.
That’s not just a style problem. That’s a safety problem. And it’s one we’re here to fix.
Founded by Kristian Hilton—a lifelong rider, stuntman, and coach at Australia’s top rider school—BurnCo blends streetwear attitude with road-tested function. This isn’t some corporate play. It’s built from the ground up, by riders for riders. BurnCo exists for the ones who ride for the 1 in 100 moment. For the ones who know skill means nothing without the brains to back it up. For the ones who want to be seen—without dressing like a traffic cone.
We’re not chasing trends. We’re building gear that might just save your life.
BurnCo. Don’t Die.

What's in the name
The MelBURN COmpany AKA BurnCo is a spark from two fires. Born in Melbourne. Forged from flame. The streets raised us. The stunts refined us. It’s fire and throttle. Burnouts and wheelies. Crashing and getting up. Rubbing dirt in the wounds—and making it home to ride another day. Call it what you want. We call it BurnCo.

Who started it
My name’s Kristian Hilton. I’ve been riding for over three decades, and I’ve tried my hand at almost all of it—road riding, off-road racing, stunt work, and everything in between. I’m someone who’s survived a lot more than just crashes.
I didn’t grow up with a safety net. No trust fund, no easy outs. I spent my time on the streets, learning the hard way that the world doesn’t hand you safety, stability, or second chances. What I found instead was fire—literally. I got into special effects and stunt work, and built a career throwing myself into chaos on film sets around the world.
But it was bikes that grounded me. Riding wasn’t just a passion—it was my escape. My therapy. My way to feel alive when nothing else made sense.
Years later, I became a coach at one of Australia’s top rider schools. I’ve helped hundreds of people go from shaky to sharp. But I kept seeing the same thing: good riders getting taken out because they weren’t seen. Because hi-vis gear looked like a joke. Because the culture hadn’t caught up to the risk.
So I built BurnCo.
Not just for style. Not just for safety. For survival.
BurnCo is my way of giving back—teaching riders how to stay visible, stay smart, and stay alive. It’s for the ones who ride for the 1 in 100 moment—when everything goes sideways and your mindset is the only thing between you and the pavement.
I’m not a tech bro or a polished influencer. I’m just a bloke who rides, teaches, and refuses to watch more good people go down because the gear let them down.
BurnCo is the next evolution of that mission. Built by me, for smart riders. No bullshit. No shortcuts.
